WandaVision may be over, but now Marvel fans can now watch a behind-the-scenes feature for the series, Assembled: The Making of WandaVision, with Marvel releasing a trailer alongside the documentary's Disney+ release that displays Paul Bettany as Vision in blue makeup.

The trailer opens with a look at the "dinner with Vision's boss" sequence from WandaVision's first episode, before pulling back to reveal its house set and live studio audience. Director Matt Shakman then officially welcomes the audience to "the first live sitcom taping in Marvel Studios history," with actor Paul Bettany jokingly confessing that he hasn't "been in front of a live audience since 1884."

From there, viewers are treated to various shots of Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Kathryn Hahn and other WandaVision stars performing their scenes from the perspective of the camera crew. Brief interview segments reveal Olsen and Bettany's thoughts about WandaVision's structure, with the former stating that when she "first heard about the concept, I thought it was brilliant," and Bettany calling it "such an homage to American sitcoms throughout the 20th century." The trailer also teases how WandaVision pulled off its special effects, ranging from deliberately hokey Dick Van Dyke Show/Bewitched era wires showcasing Wanda's magical powers to VFX shots of Vision fighting himself and Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) wearing her spacesuit.

Nearly all of WandaVision's episodes emulated the look, tone and cinematography of iconic sitcoms chronologically made between the 1950s and late 2000s, ranging from Bewitched to Family Ties and Malcolm in the Middle. Over time, however, this idealistic sitcom world is exposed as a byproduct of Wanda's powers mysteriously controlling the town of Westview, New Jersey, allowing her and Vision to have a happy ending and children at the expense of trapping Westview's townspeople in supporting cast roles. The show's penultimate episode further revealed why she chose a sitcom aesthetic, as the genre provided comfort during various traumatic stages of Wanda's life, ranging from her Sokovian childhood to her first major interaction with Vision post-Avengers: Age of Ultron.
