Two episodes into its first season and DC Universe's inaugural original series Titans officially has its season score from review aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes.Based on 31 professional reviews, the first season of the live-action series currently has a solid 84% on Rotten Tomatoes with 26 positive reviews and five negative ones.RELATED: Titans: Who’s Who in Dick Grayson’s Phone Contacts

Noting that the new series works best when it leans more into its original comic book source material and focuses on the ensemble nature of its premise, the consensus of reviews admit there are still some growing pains for the adaptation to overcome but largely succeeds overall.

Based on the DC Comics team of the same name, the series has police detective Dick Grayson find a supernaturally powered girl named Raven who is targeted by a nefarious organization. In order to protect her, Batman's former sidekick reassumes the mantle of Robin and assembles a new team to take them on.

Now streaming on DC Universe, Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Robin, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Minka Kelly as Dove, and Lindsey Gort as Amy Rohrbach. A new episode debuts each Friday.
