Square Enix is expanding its Stay Home and Play campaign, which encourages people to social distance by playing free video games.

Square Enix has already offered Tomb Raider and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris for free on Steam. The company has now announced it's partnering with the TikTok app as part of its Small Gestures program and offering Stay Home and Play bundles. All proceeds from Steam sales will go to benefit food banks and other charities in North America and Europe.

"As we said at the start of our campaign, gamers are part of a global community. We gamers regularly rally together online to return balance to fantasy kingdoms, recruit a team to save the universe from sci-fi threats, and indulge in healthy competition through high-octane action games." Square Enix said in a statement. "We are proud of the passion and concern our community displays and we hope that you will continue to support our Stay Home and Play initiatives."

Square Enix also plans to partner with the Association for UK Interactive Entertainment (UKIE), as well as other organizations, to provide free games to healthcare workers as a show of appreciation.
