Rian Johnson (Looper, Star Wars: The Last Jedi) has released a series of promotional posters for his new movie, Knives Out, that portray every character in his new whodunnit.
These posters offer a sneak peek into the lives and motivations of the Thrombey family and the detectives trying to find the truth behind the death of their patriarch, the famous mystery novelist Harlan Thrombey, played by Christopher Plummer.
The plot follows detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) as he investigates the apparent suicide of the Thrombey patriarch on the night of his 85th birthday. It soon becomes evident that every member of his family had a motive or two to kill him, and the means to do so. Blanc’s best ally to unravel the mystery might be Marta Cabrera, Thrombey’s nurse, who is physically incapable of telling a lie.
Each poster delivers astonishing details and juicy Easter eggs for those who have seen the movie already, and enticing clues and red herrings for those who haven’t.
