Disney's impending acquisition of key assets from 21st Century Fox, which include Deadpool and various X-Men characters, have rendered the future of Fox's mutant movies uncertain. Although there are currently rumors that the X-Force team-up film is dead, Deadpool 2 screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick recently confirmed Drew Goddard's X-Force is supposed to get released Deadpool 3.

Despite releasing in early 2018, Deadpool 2 was recut and rereleased as the PG-13 Once Upon a Deadpool for the holiday season. The movie is also slated to finally get a release in China later this month.
