Animal Crossing: New Horizons players have the opportunity to reap enormous profits from turnip sales for a limited time cross-promotion with the digital financial services company, Ally Financial.
From Oct. 23 at 7 pm EST to Oct. 27, players can visit Ally Island, using the Dream Code DA-9350-9609-6289, where they can sell their turnips for lucrative prices. The island itself will be open until Nov. 6 and also boasts a host of in-game activities from a photo op, a golf tournament, a race and special items for sale.
The island will be unveiled through a Twitch stream by personality KangGaming starting at 7 pm EST on Oct. 23. Ally Island's Stalk Exchange will run at the following times, with a single turnip selling for 1,000 bells:
Oct. 23: 9:00 pm - 11:00 pm ET
Oct. 24: 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm ET
Oct. 25: 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm ET
Oct. 26: 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm ET
Oct. 27: 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm ET
The cross-promotion is an effort to help educate Americans about financial literacy and services. In addition to the record-breaking turnip prices, a bell-related announcement is expected on Oct. 29, while the closure of the island on Nov. 6 is expected to have its own special event, with players encouraged to empty their pockets before visiting.
